How to Prevent Outlook from Saving Sent Messages?

How to prevent Outlook from saving sent messages?
Outlook automatically saves a copy of messages you send in the Sent Items folder for both IMAP and POP3 email accounts. It helps the user to get a note and watch of the emails if the user is unable to remember that if he/she has replied to a particular email or not. The messages that have failed to send to their destination are stored in the Outbox. Call Now Outlook Customer Care for Solution .
Follow the steps to prevent Outlook from saving sent messages:
  • Click on the Outlook account. Click on the File button and select Options. Once the Outlook Options dialog opens, select Mail.
  • Look for the Save Messages option. Unchecked the Save copies of messages in the Sent Item folder.
  • When the emails are written, Outlook automatically saves them to the Draft folder if that was not sent within 3 minutes.
  • Users also have the option to save drafts in the other folder. Click Ok to save the settings.
  • Contact in the Outlook customer care number if the issue is not resolved yet.
